Tallowa Dam

Tallowa Dam is a great location for kayaking, fishing, bird-watching, swimming or picnicking. It has a unique massive mechanical fish lift which transports fish over the dam wall. The dam can also be viewed from multiple locations as it forms the centrepiece of Kangaroo Valley. Our favourite is the view from the Three Views Walking Track.

Kangaroo Valley is a fantastic place to cycle both on-road and off-road. Try some of the challenging rides up Cambewarra or Barrengarry Mountains, or a leisurely ride into Kangaroo Valley town, or further afield to Berry. Bring your own bike or hire one locally.
